Dr. Alejandro Diaz-Bautista received his Ph.D. in Economics from the University of California, Irvine. He also earned his Master's degree at the University of California. He is studied economics at ITAM. He is Professor of Economics and Researcher at COLEF, and held the position of head of the Master’s Program in Applied Economics. Professor DÃaz-Bautista has taught courses in the fields of industrial organization, international economics, political economy and econometrics. Professor DÃaz-Bautista's research interests are based in the fields of international economics, industrial organization and energy economics, with special interest in U.S. and Mexico border regions.
