Ride bikes single file, stop safely away from other bikers, and dismount at major intersections. When crossing streets, look both ways yourself and don't follow crowds, as the light could change. Let the adult in your group lead the way. Slow down and look both ways at white poles, and some have stop signs. Wait for cars to fully stop before crossing 152nd Street. Use hand signals and watch for cars in driveways. Wear helmets.

- 3. Stopping If you must stop make sure there is no one behind you; dont stop right in front of someone: domino effect
- 4. Dismounting Dismount to cross major intersections: 160th, 156th, 152nd, 96th and 148th.
- 5. Crossing When crossing an intersection do not follow the crowd; look for yourself. The light could change on you.
- 6. Leading Let the adult in your pod lead the way.
- 7. White Poles When you come to the white poles on the right of way, make sure you slow down and look both ways before crossing. For some of the white poles there are stop signs.
