Abed Assli holds a BA with honors in Economics and Business Administration from the University of Haifa and is completing an MA in Economics.
Abed was one of the Koret-Milken Institute Fellows for two years. During his first year he worked in the Knesset with MK Nadia Chilou and worked on an array of issues concerning agricultural, education, and economic development. Over his second year, Abed worked independently on the Institute's Northern Israel project. He specifically focused on the adapted and localized the idea of a tourism assessment district to fund tourism infrastructure that has enormous funding implications for Northern Israel.
