When I was employed in Sept 2014, the management of Atlantic Hall made it clear that I was employed to teach English Language and English Literature. The first major challenge was stripping the curriculum. I was the curriculum developer as well as the teacher. Atlantic Hall was different from my previous school but I had to learn and adjust very fast. In my previous school, lesson lasted for forty minute but in Atlantic Hall, it lingers till one hour. I had to plan lessons to take up to one hour.
Furthermore, my previous school presented candidates for English as a second language and I had no glimpse of what English as a First Language was all about. I had to learn the details of English...
