I am a geographer as well as GIS trainer. I also work as individual consultant for spatial planning and landuse planning.
As a geographer, I always promote map as a tool for any kind of planning. A region will be easy to be planned if we have a good map showing all characters of the land. the more detail of the map the better planning will be achieved.
To produce more people who have skill in map production I have to train many people. for this purpose I built a small institution that can educate people having skill to operate GIS.
