Ahmed Al-Obaidi received the BSc degree in computer engineering from University of Mosul in 2002 and the MSc degree in computer systems engineering from University Putra Malaysia in 2008. He joined MIMOS Bhd. in 2007 where he has been a researcher in the area of video analytics for intelligent video surveillance. He is a doctoral candidate at the Centre for Information, Intelligence and Security Systems in Staffordshire University. His research interests include computer vision, in particular video analytic, intelligent visual surveillance, image-based modelling, bio-inspired vision, and machine learning.
