Grew up in Edinburgh Scotland. Former Cell Biologist and Geneticist in UK and California. Father of three, husband of one. Now work for NHS Scotland helping care teams and organisations use data, information and measurement to plan and improve health services (patient-centred, effective and safe). Secretary of local community council and wearer of tweed hats.
