Born in Japan. Artist name is ALIMO. While working as a medical cameraman, started creating animations. From the beginning, developed an original methodology, “Animation Tableau”, which combines painting and animation. Graduated at Tokyo University of the Arts, Graduate School of Film and New Media Department of Animation. Among the many festivals ALIMO participated to are the 11th Hiroshima International Animation Festival, Animafest Zagreb 2012, Vancouver International Film Festival 2012 and Etiuda&Anima 2012. ALIMO stays in Estonia.
