Amos Laar is a Senior Lecturer in the Population, Family and Reproductive Health Department at the School of Public Health. He holds a PhD in Public Health with demonstrated research interest in HIV, maternal, infant, and young child nutrition. He has experience in planning, implementing and disseminating community-based research. Amos Laar has been a Co-Investigator of eight successful research grants at the University of Ghana, School of Public Health, including the HIV and AIDS Interactive Training, Education and Development Center Project which developed interventions to increase uptake of HIV testing and decrease risky behaviors among students and staff of the UG-SPH.
