Changing the social advertsing setting on Linked In. Left checked, Linked In can use your phot and name in social advertising without further notification to you or specific consent.

ONLINE REPUTATION MANAGEMENT TIP?Did you know that LinkedIn can use your name and photo in social advertising?This could be you! Follow these 4 steps to remove this setting
Under your name is a drop-down field called ¡®settings¡¯ ¨C click it. This will open the settings menu.
Scroll down to the bottom of the page and click ¡®Account¡¯. A new sidebar menu will open up to the right.
Click ¡®Manage Social Advertising¡¯. A pop-up window will appear.
Uncheck the tick box that reads ¡°LinkedIn may use my name, photos in social advertising¡±. Then click ¡®Save¡¯. OK, ALL DONE!Happy surfing.
