Alba Ortiz earned her Bachelor’s Degree in philology and languages in Bogotá, Colombia, and then taught at the International school of Stavanger, Norway. In the U.S., Alba has taught at the middle, high school and college levels.
Alba earned her Master’s Degree in Spanish Language and Culture as well as a Graduate Certificate in Spanish Translation at the University of Nevada Las Vegas.
Now teaching at Cleveland High School in the Albuquerque, NM area, Alba loves to challenge her students to reach their potential by inspiring them to believe in themselves and have a great time while learning their new language.
