I have several years of experience in the field of Geographic Information Systems, in most cases closely related to the environment.
I鈥檝e been increasing my experience with different GIS softwares, all over the years. Proprietary softwares such as ArcGIS, MapInfo, GeoMedia Professional, are the ones on which I鈥檝e worked more. But also with open source softwares such as QuantumGIS, from Portugal or gvSIG, from Spain for example.
During my last three years I have worked in a international research center related to climate change and El Ni帽o climate phenomenon, called CIIFEN. Part of my job was to make a link between science and GIS.
