About
I am a biochemist currently majoring in Molecular biology, bioinformatics and protozoology for zoonosis control. I am currently pursuing a doctoral research in veterinary medicine. My focus is on molecular diagnostics and epidemiology through identification of diagnostic and staging markers for human african trypanosomiasis using Next generation sequencing. I believe that a thorough transcriptome analysis can help a lot in understanding the pathology and immunology of CNS infiltration by trypanosomes and aid in discovery of stage specific markers of disease.
