Cyprus is the 39th European country to participate in Junior Achievement Young Enterprise Europe (www.ja-ye.org). JA-YE Cyprus is a non-profit organisation which aims to promote entrepreneurship education in schools. It works closely with the Ministry of Education, teachers and volunteers from the business world to educate students on how to turn an idea into reality. It addresses the know-how (financial literacy, team work, preparation of business plans etc.) but more importantly, the do-how, by setting up companies with real products.
