I am a Birmingham and Ankara based researcher working as a research & teaching assistant at the Department of Translation and Interpreting, Hacettepe University in Turkey. Currently, I study at the School of Psychology, University of Birmingham with Dr. Robin Thompson and Dr. Linda Wheeldon. Multimodal language processing, cognitive/neural dimension of simultaneous interpreting and eye tracking methodology are my main research interests. I am also interested in language technology, multitasking, divided attention and working memory.
