Our aim is to simplify volunteer coordination for large events through a mobile application called Shift+Ctrl. It allows staff to dynamically schedule volunteers by role and track attendance in real-time. For the demonstration phase, prototypes of the web and Android apps will be developed to show event listings and attendance tracking functionality using manually entered test data. The full application architecture involves cloud-hosted backend services with third-party integration for notifications and a native mobile frontend.
