The Austrian Egyptian designer Amina (Ammar) Autegy is the head designer and creative director of Amina Autegy.
Having developed an appreciation for applied design from an early age, she moved to Germany to study BA Fashion Design - Styliste/Modeliste at ESMOD Berlin.
During her studies, she discovered her passion for Couture, textile design and embroidery which led her to absolve courses at Ecole Lesage and ESMOD Paris.
Furthermore, Amina Autegy was awarded an official Buying & Merchandising Certification by The Business of Fashion BoF Professional in 2017.
The Designers Demi Couture label's name AUTEGY was inspired by her origins AUT (Autriche) & EGY (Egypte).
