currently MAAP Director for External Relations ( formerly 15 years MAAP Exec Dean and Research and Extension Services Director). , she served as Research and Development (RD) Director for 2 years in Philippine Merchant Marine Academy (PMMA) in 1997 at Fort Boniface, Makita until its transfer in San Narciso Zambales in 1998. From 1997-1998, she was part of the Multi-Sectoral Task Force in Maritime Development. Her contribution in charting the development blueprint for vibrancy and global competitiveness of the Philippine Maritime Sector in the 21st century was recognized by the Philippine Department of Transportation and Communication (DOTC).
