About
Andrew is a National Teaching Fellow (2017) and Senior Fellow of the HEA. He has 22 years of experience in higher education. In his university role, he leads academic development and curriculum innovation drawing upon his wide experience and deep knowledge of learning, teaching, assessment and employability. His strategy has been to establish specialist teaching enhancement networks for promoting innovation through the co-production of knowledge (Teaching Essentials). Some of his successes include: re-establishing the University’s annual Learning & Teaching Conference; establishing an inter-directorate and faculty Future Learning Spaces strategy and operations group.
