Looking back on my childhood I am amazed to see the footprints of purpose through my tender years of learning. To entertain myself growing up, I'd turn the laundry baskets over and place my stuffed animals underneath them as I lined them one after another alongside my yellow construction paper pathway taped to my bedroom floor. If I couldn't go to the zoo, I'd create one. Then, my dolls and I would stroll along and make conversation. Barbies got their hair cut and styled and nametags taped around their legs. My baby brother who came along after I already had "only child syndrome" got my cut bangs taped to his bald head. He fit very well into my nurturing ways as he went along with my sociala
