Pollution, deforestation, invasive species, the greenhouse effect, and overpopulation can all cause extinction on Earth. Pollution contaminates the air, soil, and water with toxic chemicals. Deforestation involves cutting down too many trees, reducing carbon absorption and oxygen release by plants. Invasive species can completely change new ecosystems by killing native species. The greenhouse effect occurs when gases in Earth's atmosphere absorb and reflect sun rays, trapping heat like a greenhouse. Overpopulation strains resources as the growing human population uses more land and food while contributing to deforestation and pollution.
4. CONSECUENCES OF DEFORESTATION
1 There is more carbon dioxide because plants will not
absorb it.
2There is les oxigen because plants will not release it.
16. The problems are that:
There are less plants because of deforestation , pollution,
global warming, invasive species and less rain. This means
that there will be less food for the growing population.
