I am Founder and CEO of Blue Badge Insights and write a blog for ZDNet called "Big on Data" http://www.zdnet.com/blog/big-data. BBI provides strategy and advisory services to Microsoft customers and partners. The company derives from my background in application software development dating back to 1985, and my industry expertise in Microsoft technologies like .NET, SQL Server and Analysis Services. I am a co-author of "Programming Microsoft SQL Server 2012" (Microsoft Press, 2012), an advisor to the NYTECH, the New York Technology Council, I serve as Microsoft Regional Director and MVP, conference chair of Visual Studio Live, and write Visual Studio Magazine's "Redmond Review" column.
