I am of Lithuanian heritage who was the first generation born in Hamilton together with my older sister who works for the Chief Justice of Ontario and my younger brother who is a General manager of The Keg. I actively participated in the Lithuanian community in everything from dance to drama to CYO to the Choir. These activities took me around the 3 corners of the globe - South America, the US/Canada, and Australia. After completing OTEC and teaching for a year, I spread my wings and moved to Melbourne in Australia. I continued with my Lithuanian folk dancing, only this time in the capacity of an instructor which took me to a Lithuanian Day week-long Festival of Sport and Dance in Adelaide
