Passed out MBBS in 1991 from MLN Medical College, Allahabad and M.D.(medicine) at King George's Medical University, Lucknow. Worked at CT Centre at AIIMS (All India Institute of Medical Sciences) New Delhi as Junior Resident in Cardiology and Pediatric Cardiology. Looked after ICU at Sujan Mohindra Hospital, New Friend's Colony, New Delhi.
