When in doubt...punt.
An over-achieving mom who is the quintessential optimist. I believe we are all born with good in our hearts and it's our job to nurture that which is inherent in each child with whom we come into contact. I want our children to grow up to believe in themselves and in their ability to make a difference in their world. They can't do that if we say one thing and model something different. We are the example and need to remember they will be the ones to care for us when we're too old and frail to care for ourselves.
