I live a perpetual summer in one fantastic ocean town (Santa Cruz). I'm mom to two little guys, Kai and Quinn, who are testing their wings and learning their way in the world. I'm the wife to Jonathan, who now works locally at Seagate, and in his free time likes to surf, play, and enjoy being in SC. I'm a library media teacher in an elementary school right near the water, and I have had the incredible opportunity to teach and read stories to thousands of Santa Cruz children the last 18 years. I'm an obsessive party planner and cake maker, seamstress, recycler, spin-class addict, rock hopper, historian, backpacker, naturalist, storyteller, artist, and someday author. My latest obsession is fe
