I have done my B.tech project on Interlocking concrete paving blocks made from industrial wastes. Use of GGBS, PPC, quarry dust and additives gave an excellent paving blocks satisfying all requirements of IS:15658:2006.
M.Tech project is on "Low slump Geopolymer Concrete"- pavement application". The main aim of the research work is to get slip-form self consolidating concrete. Many research work on slip-form self consolidating concrete has been done by IOWA but use of geopolymer concrete in the place of OPC is not yet done and we reached to level 3 out of 4 levels. That is, we lacked just to get the green strength properties in the mix.
