Ari Matikainen was born in 1970 and he graduated from the University of Arts and Design in Helsinki 2007. His examination work from school, 鈥淟one Star Hotel鈥� (75 min), got theatrical distribution and it won The Best Documentary 2007 鈥淛ussi-Prize鈥�.
Ari has written and directed several documentary TV-series for YLE.
He founded Kinocompany Ltd in 2006 and is the CEO of the company.
