Just as God blessed Daniel, I am a simple man blessed by God. He deserves the glory for all I have accomplished and the good I have done. I have seen too much darkness for one lifetime. I’m hard when at work because I must, kind and gentle at home because I prefer. I’ve been loved by a woman better than I deserve; it was not in spite of her flaws but because of them. Like the Native American art which uses polished wood, instead of hiding flaws they buff the wood so that the natural flaws enhance the beauty. I am extremely grateful and do not deserve such blessings. However I will take mercy over justice any time--smile.
