I received my Ph.D. degree in plant genetics in August 2012 from Dongguk University, Seoul, Korea, where I have also worked as a postdoctoral research fellow. After I have got my PhD, I am currently working at University of Nevada, Reno.
During my PhD. studies, I was involved in numerous publications on genomics, bioinformatics, and the evolution of the Poaceae family. My Ph.D. research has enhanced my understanding of molecular genetics and has provided me with both experience and technical training in broad in vitro and in silico experiments. I also have a strong background in genomics, as well as the use of Linux, Perl scripting, and grid computing.
