- 1. Visiting Kuakata three years in a row, I had observed rapid changes in landscape.. But life changes slowly; very slowly.. And, of the things that represent that constant state are

- 4. Until the fishermen move out
- 5. They carry the boats on their shoulders..
- 6. And watch them 鉛艶温厩艶盒彫.
- 8. Over them
- 9. And beyond.
- 10. And they are left idle; their feet washed by the sea.
- 11. Until the fishermen come back home
- 12. They get busy..
- 13. They are happy to see the boats back
- 14. They share the concerns of the fishermens families
- 15. They are part of Kuakatas sea life.

- 17. I visited Kuakata several times between 2006 and 2008 and had been able to see significant change in the landscape of that place. Sea erosion and super cyclone Sidr left their cruel mark on the pristine beaches of Kuakata. Tourism is flourishing here despite all these natural debacles and that adds another dimension to the unique lifestyle of this beautiful place. But no significant change came to the lives of the fishermen living here; except some aid to the fishermens families after Sidr. Some of the boats were donated by the Bangladesh Army.
