The Governor's Office of Business and Economic Development (GO-Biz) leads job creation and economic development efforts in California. GO-Biz oversees various state programs and offices related to business, international trade, innovation, and film. In 2013, GO-Biz revamped the state's economic development approach, provided $780 million in tax credits, opened an international trade office, and expanded companies across California. GO-Biz priorities for 2014 include improving business climate, regulatory modernization, new economic tools, and integrating economic development with workforce development.
