At heart I am a scientist, but not a very good one. I never even graduated from college. I aspire simply to contribute to the sum of human knowledge on a fundamental level. For the last 25 years I have dabbled in the world of computers . I've been a CxO for startups, held lots of Professional Services consulting and practice management positions. I've done a lot of public speaking, and I'm a published writer (barely). I have written a stack of articles, books, manuals, blogs, and tutorials, 95% of which are now obsolete. I sometimes build and use reflecting astronomical telescopes. My wife and I are Geocaching enthusiasts (see www.geocaching.com), and I play guitar in a band called the Bob
