I estimate the the effect of environmental problems caused by human activities on wild populations. Specifically I work on the evolutionary effects of overfishing, response to climate change and pollution. I combine experimental and theoretical approaches with the ultimate goal to give policy-makers and managers better basis for evidence-based decision-making. I am also interested in the solving conflicts that may arise between basic, curiosity-driven science and management needs.
