- Read a lot of books at my first job as assistant manager of an independent bookstore.
- Moved to Whitehorse, YT to explore some place that was not Port Alberni. Lived in a tent. Learned my first trade.
- Moved to Nanaimo, BC to be closer to my brothers and out of the cold.
