Studied upto IVth Standard in ALP School, Rishinaradamangalm. Upto Xth in Sarvajana High School, Puthucode and completed SSLC in March 1970. Was in the first batch Pre-Degree (Science Group) in Sree Narayana College, Alathur from 1970-72. Joined Bank of India in 1974 and worked at various places including Madhya Pradesh (Bhopal, Ashta and Dodi), Mattancherry, Palakkad, Kozhikode and Kasargod in Kerala State. Retired voluntarily in 2001 and is now settled in Puthiyankam, Palakkad District.
