I am a visual artist and educator. My practice embraces and integrates a variety of concepts, media, and strategies, and is motivated by the philosophical conviction that multiplicity and singularity are complimentary and interrelated expressions of an essentially indivisible reality. Within this interconnected reality, the creative subject is challenged, I believe, to contribute, in conscious acknowledgement of the constructive potential of individual thought and action, to the transformation of the social milieu.
