The STaR Chart is a tool used by schools to assess their technology use and plan for improvements. It evaluates schools across four key areas: Teaching and Learning, Educator Preparation, Leadership and Support, and Infrastructure. The school summarized received scores ranging from 9 to 19 across the areas. Their target for improvement was Educator Preparation, with goals to reach Advanced and then Target levels in the next two years. Improving educator preparation with technology was identified as benefiting the school by increasing student engagement, communication, and integrating technology into the curriculum.
