I am a research assistant in Computer Science at the University of Bari "Aldo Moro" (Italy) since June 2009. I received the Ph.D. in Computer Science (May 2009), thesis title: "Word Sense Disambiguation and Intelligent Information Access".
My research is devoted to the study of methods and techniques for semantic processing and indexing of textual documents. The main goal is to use advanced Natural Language Processing (NLP) methods to process collections of documents. In particular, I investigate strategies to extract semantic information from text using Word Sense Disambiguation (WSD) and Semantic Distributional Models.
