Bruce Posner (b. 1953, Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania) works as a curator/programmer of film, lecturer on motion pictures, archivist focused on film preservation and restoration, and a creative artist in film and photography. His curatorial projects are repeatedly cited as provocative, insightful, and significant to the history of motion pictures. The National Society of Film Critics, Los Angeles Film Critics Association, and Boston Society of Film Critics have awarded him prestigious citations, and in 2004 he was designated a 鈥淟ifetime Arts Fellow鈥� by the New Hampshire State Council for the Arts.
