I started my career in 1990 as a police officer within the Belgian Federal Police and obtained a large experience with the support and coordination of large scale (inter)national investigations in the field of fraud, money laundering, proceeds of crime, financing of terrorism and organized crime.
In 2000 I switched from public to private sector and went to Ernst & Young to lead the new department Forensic Audit Services. This gave me the opportunity to enlarge my experience by providing large and medium sized companies and public sector organisations with appropriate advice and assistance in preventing, investigating and regulating fraudulent conduct.
