Aakash 2 is a new low-cost tablet computer developed by Datawind for the Indian government's low-cost computing program. It has a 7-inch capacitive touchscreen, 1GHz dual-core processor, 1GB RAM, 4GB storage, microSD card slot, and runs Android 4.0 for a price of 1,900 rupees. Over 100,000 units have been ordered by the Indian government to be distributed to students in 2013.
