Even if I have the gift of prophecy, and know all mysteries and all knowledge, even if I have all faith so as to remove mountains, and I would have LOVE, I am nothing.
And though I bestow all my goods to feed the poor, even if I give my body to be burned, and I would have not LOVE, I gain nothing.
LOVE is patient, is kind: LOVE is not jealous, LOVE does not boast, is not puffed up, does not behave rudely, does not seek its own, is not provoked, thinks no evil, do not rejoice in iniquity but rejoices with the truth, bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things.
LOVE never fails. Prophecies will end, tongues will cease, knowledge will have no end.
