Beniamino Murgante is Professor of Urban and Regional Planning at the University of Basilicata.
He obtained his PhD in 鈥淪ciences and methods for European cities and territory鈥� at the Department of Civil engineer of the University of Pisa. He carried out other researches in Lyon at the Laboratoire d'Ing茅nierie des Syst猫mes d'Information at the Institut National des Sciences Appliqu茅es (INSA) directed by Robert Laurini. His main research interests are focused on the use of technologies in supporting spatial decision.
