I graduated in 1996 from Kuwait University with a BSc. in Electric Power and Control. In June of 1996 I joined the Operations Section of Pumping Stations Department. There, I was responsible for the operation of two pumping stations providing cooling seawater to refineries and petrochemical plants in Kuwait. In 2001 I was promoted to the position of Operations Section Head. In 2002 I joined the doctorate program of Swinburne University of Technology, Melbourne, Australia.
