To prevent back pain while golfing, one should stay hydrated to prevent muscle cramps, warm up with stretches before and after swinging to avoid sprains, and distribute weight evenly on the balls of their feet for balance. Proper warm ups, limiting bag weight to 10% of body weight, bending knees and hips when lifting heavy clubs, and wearing comfortable golf shoes can also help reduce back stress and pain.
