Manages the daily operations of the ASC National Office including overseeing a staff of six. This position reports directly to the Secretary-Treasurer and the ASC Executive Board. The Executive Director provides business guidance to the Board and Committees and implements ASC Board approved policies and procedures. Additional responsibilities include policy formulation, fiscal planning, budget development, cost control and providing administrative support for the Board. The Director ensures that the ASC is in compliance with the non-profit laws, American Medical Association (AMA) and the American Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME).
