Thirteen years of Catholic school 鈥� through which I have met some of my favorite people on the planet 鈥� in the sprawling, conservative expanse of San Diego led me to flee to San Francisco at the age of 18, where I stumbled into the do-gooder world of progressive politics and social change. Today I love my work as a VP with the Metropolitan Group where I consult on fundraising strategy and campaigns, corporate sponsorship and cause-related marketing, membership and mass appeal fundraising, and nonprofit management.
