I am broadly interested in the Environmental Microbiology and Environmental Bioprocess Engineering and my research interest revolves around the microbial degradation of recalcitrant organic pollutants in the environment. My research work involved microbial degradation of phenolic compounds, polyaromatic hydrocarbons and biodecolorization and biodegradation of textile azo dyes. My future endeavor in research would revolve around Biodiesel and Bioethanol and Biohydrogen and Bioelectricity production coupled to simultaneous wastewater treatment using microorganisms.
