Bizu Sumoy was born in Dhaka in 1982, and the sights, sounds, smells and colours of the city had a profound effect on his developing artistic soul. Initially expressing himself through watercolours and oils, he became increasingly drawn to the form of sculpture to represent his inner thoughts and feelings.
